As of Wednesday, May 17, we will only be accepting admissions during our designated monthly intake admission periods. Requests submitted outside the dates indicated below will not be considered or processed.
All applications are pooled together and reviewed under a pools system each month in which the top-ranking candidates are chosen for Community Recommendation based on the criteria score set by the Program Coordinator and Selection Committee, as well as the candidate’s rationale for intention to reside within Moose Jaw or its eligible RNIP boundaries.
Review the Intake Period Schedule:
Applications will not be considered if they are incomplete, fail to meet the federal eligibility criteria, or fail to meet the minimum score required under the Community Criteria. Applicants are responsible for ensuring they meet the program requirements and that their application is complete.
Applications will be processed on a first come first served basis. Applications received during each intake period will be evaluated by the Program Coordinator for eligibility and subsequently reviewed by the Selection Committee the following month.
The community will utilize the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot to continue to strengthen our local economy and support the development of our workforce. For more information on the benefits of immigration, please visit Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada’s website.
We began accepting applications for a Moose Jaw community recommendation from individuals wishing to immigrate to the community through the RNIP program in December 2020. There have been 288 Community Recommendations issued to date!
To be eligible, applicants must have a genuine full-time job offer from an approved employer, meet the federal government’s eligibility criteria, and meet the community criteria.
Moose Jaw RNIP has expanded its boundaries! Employers must conduct business within this boundary (in red) in order to use the program.
